Also, many champions have an ability to protect themselves a shield, a dash to dodge skillshots, or some sort of CC. Almost every champion maxes one ability over the others. If an ability hits nothing, wasting the cooldown and mana, that’s an airball. If they hit both, great! This is an extra. They can hit the champion, or hit the minions. Some are abilities are can only hit one target (Morgana Q), but most can hit more. If you get a trade off for free, you’re in great shape.
